ran at the park as usual today. on the way there i passed some people on mountain bikes going up a hill. they passed me back on the way down the hill, clearly annoyed. started out about 6:20, kinda settled in and ran mindlessly. i feel good about my pace, because i've been able to hit my goal training pace for the majority of my runs. we'll see how well it works when we increase mileage. it's a lot harder to hold pace over long distances in the heat.
work's been boring lately, just staring at a computer screen all day, and i look forward to going home every day. i'm hoping it gets better.
things are going well. i'm planning a sprint tri june 11 in savannah. that should be fun, but i've gotta get in some swimming before then. i should probably start morning runs at some point in time, but for now i'm not going to bed early enough for that to be a possibility. we'll see what happens.
