it rained yesterday-- finally. it's been awfully hot lately. when it does rain, it's a torrential downpour though. apparently three people died- got crushed by a tree or something. i didn't run in it because yesterday was my off day. i was going to bike, but road biking in the rain seemed a little dangerous.
it was still a lot cooler this morning, but really humid. at first the sun was still behind the clouds, but it came out and warmed everything up during my run. the pace felt good. i slept in this morning and only had a banana and a glass of water for breakfast, but i only felt the dehydration a bit.
ran the same route as tuesday, but faster, probably because of the weather. there were some parts of this run where i felt really solid and like i was in a great rhythm, and other parts that i felt tired and out of it. finished pretty strong. overall, it was a good day.
stretched really well. my back's been feeling tense lately, so i made sure to try and relax and stretch.
ibis x40 w/20 pushups btwn each except the last one. that was a lot harder than i expected, i just don't do pushups a lot.
