Physical Education Mile Run

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Nice, about 64F

Comments:
Coach Rowe's mile run today...jogged an 8:02 at the bginning of the semester, now I'm running again and (without a watch) cruised an 8:56 mile. Not too shabby I guess, keeping my head up.

I ran faster than what I'm supposed to, which could be a positive or a negative.
Positive: Considering I didn't have a watch and was pacing myself based off of how I felt, I must not be terribly out of shape like I presumed.
Negative: I have to be careful not to throw myself into it again. It's all about the PACE. Ease yourself in, increase in speed if you're staying the same distance. Increase in distance if you're staying the same speed. I refuse to sit out anymore. The emotional part of it, gets me everytime. I think it hurts me more to sit out on the sidelines and wtahc my teammates run than it does for me to actually be out there. I never realized how much I would miss it all. It's good to be back!!!
