Exercise Type: Bike
Comments:
BIKE: the bike went well, i thought. when i looked at the results though, it appeared that my bike time was 36th overall, or something. i really don't like getting passed, so whenever someone passed me, i would try to stay with them, and let them carry me past a few other people. the rules for triathlon though, are that you must be at least 3 bike lengths behind the biker ahead, to eliminate drafting. closer to the end of the bike, i got passed by one cyclist, but when i tried to pass him back, i realized there was a big pack of cyclists passing me. once they had all gone by, i passed most of them back with a strong move, then we rode together for a while. the last half mile involves a few quick turns, and since i'm less confident on my bike, and slightly afraid of falling, i lost some ground to them coming into the t2
T2: not as bad as t1, but as i was pulling into the park, i realized i hadn't pre-tied my shoes, which would slow me down. t2 was only 45 seconds though, which consisted of removing my helmet, gloves, and bike shoes, and putting on running shoes.
