Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50's raining, windy
Comments:
i guess it's been too long since i've run these trails, because i could have sworn that this trail was one of the sandy ones that wouldn't hold water, but boy was i wrong. I was stuck on the side of a ravine with my choice of ice or mud to run on for much of it. This being the same trail i almost died on a couple years ago, i was pretty much running like a pansy the whole way, then when it came time to go back down the hill, that trail was on the north slope and there was just no way, so i took the trail down to the water tower but did more sliding and cursing than i did actual running. once i survived and made it onto streets again, my left lower back/butt/leg was bothering me, i think i tweaked something trying to live. all in all, it was another stupid adventure by me, and i hope matt and i can find a better route tomorrow that won't leave us at risk of careening into some gulch.
