Weather: 70s... beautiful
Comments:
Knee hurt for first mile and last mile. Felt good in the middle. Cut out last mile of the loop. Paused for long stretch after first 4 minutes. Second and third mile appeared to be about 7:45 pace, which was deliberatly faster than I've been running this summer. Knee didn't like the feeling of the faster, higher stride. Back was fine. A frustrating run, as I realize my shuffle stride I've been doing most of the summer does not really lift my leg very high. When I try to run at pace, I bring the leg down with more force and I am pretty sure I am still favoring the leg, or should I say, I'm lifting it "wrong."
Lifted full body int he AM at GDS HS. Flew to Nantucket in the afternoon.
