Day 1 - Dear fellow running brothers and sisters:

If any one of you are reading this, you have all inspired me to get off my tookus and start working hard again to get back into tip top shape.

This marks my first official logged run since June 1st. :X
Tonight was simply a quick check to see where I am.

I went out "hard" and did a little 2 mile loop to see how I'd feel.

Sadly, with that being said, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. It may be a factor that I haven't slept in 36 hours, but that is just an excuse.

It's going to be a long, painful process to get back on the horse, but this break has been really good for me. My shin splints have finally gone away 100% after 4 years. That is the one perk of all this.

This break has also given me a chance to enjoy a smooth transition into school, and just enjoy being a college kid for a little while.

That time is over now though, and I'm ready to get moving again.

My times are going to be pathetic for a little while, but I intend to get back to where I was and surpass even that point.

Whether or not I will compete is still unforeseen at this point, but I'm going to start training like I am.

Here goes.
