Last Track Workout

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
3x200 @ 32, 3x1200 @ T with a minute rest. 31,31,32,4:00,4:02,3:58. This was obviously quick and easy (one might even say, "babydick") and there is no need to talk about it further. 2 mile warmup, 1.5 mile cooldown.

Last ever workout on the track. I guess I'm the only person on the team who remembers when we didn't even have a track (we worked out at Mervo, which I now realize no one even knows what that is. It's the high school with the blue fence that is right by Montebello). I was there the day they painted the lanes and the day we ran on it for the first time. I've done a lot of laps around that track, and I'll always have a lot of fond memories to go with it.
