Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Today we had a 60 min progression run. We decided to do extended saucon valley high school loop. The workout was:
First 20 min: distance run pace working to hard distance run pace
Second 20 min: hard distance run pace- tempo pace
Third 20 min: tempo pace
I felt good the first 30 minutes or so because that was the easy part. But then we preceded to begin some sub 5:30 miles right around 33 or so minutes. By the time we hit 44 minutes I had dropped back. I had felt pretty shitty but was still maintaing a hard effort. If I had to guess I would assume 5:25s or so which was very slow compared to my assigned 5:13 pace. Just a bad workout. Everyone has those days. Plus running hard over a long distance isnt exactly my specialty.
