June 30, 2012 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 80
Comments:
The massive thunderstorms that dropped the temps from 100 to 75 last night left branches all over the city and made it a tough day to run trails. Still I met up with Sam M., David P., and an F&M grad who lives near Sam. We did 2 miles around Ft. Reno and then tried Glover and BK and Wesley Heights trail with varying degrees of success and climbing over fallen limbs. Finished up Cathedral Ave and Idaho and Wisconsin. Very beat by the last few miles, but did suprisingly well for the first half. Weight at the end was 171 as opposed to 176 a couple mornings ago. I guess I broke a sweat. Knees were moderate. Company helped to distract, and the pace was generally very slow.
