Exercise Type: Run
Weather: fantastic, around 60?
Comments:
A nice, quality training run on my own. Weather makes such a difference, but I also feel like the summer has finally caught up with me and benefitted me. I can run a solid pace without feeling out of breath and stiff. Paused for a thorough stretch upon reaching the trail. Added on a bit by going down the trail from Dorsett to River and overshooting the turn off to Chevy Chase by going to the mile marker near Columbia GC. The pace on the trail dropped through 7:20 range to 7:02 range. I focused on keeping even up through Chevy Chase hills and maybe accelerated a bit down Conn Ave. Knees still locked up and nagged throughout, but at least I'm feeling stronger than the past three months.
