My AT 50k

Comments:
Started from Penmar Park at 7:30am, got to Black Rock at 10:30 (about 15.5-16 miles), then back to Penmar at 2:00pm. There was a shelter at about 5 miles and then about 9.5 so I used them as Aid stations :) Had my camelbak (drained it); organic energy bars, chocolate covered coffee beans, and raisins in little baggies and then a pbj sandwich thin at Black Rock (it lifted my spirits and represented all that is good in life!)

Overall a great day. A little more walking than I was planning but the AT is brutal! Ran quite a bit on the way out and then most of the downhills and flats on the way back. Knee hurts pretty good but other than that just the regular sore!

Oh and I just had some pancakes. Best. Day. Ever.
