Comments:
Got 9.5 hours two nights before and 7 the night before. Felt ok in the morning, quads were a bit sore. Had French toast, part of a smoothie, and a peanut butter bar before racing, but most importantly I drank more water than smoothie which I think helped. Warmed up, then ran the 1000 went out in 31 and was shocked so I sped up a lot and hit 1:00, 1:30.7,2:01 2:32.81. Felt smooth until the last lap. Then did the mile and I just drafted until the laps were left and kicked in for a 4:29. Did the 800 and split a 2:02 which wasn't great but I was experimenting with going smooth today. Cooled down for a while.
