Comments:
Today was the best steeple ive run to date. I felt like i ran it the right way for me: first lap was more like 75, (not 70) and then after coming by 800 around 2:32, I started moving up through the pack picking people off. First 1600 around 5:09. felt much better than last week, had good competition for me, my water jumps were much better. Next step with the steeple is to get better at attacking the hurdles instead of stuttering over them. I know im WAY better than this time if i get the hurdles and race mentality down but im still not sure if its the right race for me. I want to try some 5ks this year, prolly next week and then hopefully another maybe post conferences. Wanna keep practicing for the steeple too though.
