Petaluma HS Track

Comments:
Put off my run for most of the morning, but then headed out right before noon and took an easy 2 mile jaunt around the flat portion of old Petaluma. Talked myself into trying something on the track which turned into 2x1600 at a brisk, but not painful pace. Loped through a 6:10 mile accelerating slightly every lap as I loosened up. Cooled down for 200 meters and added another mile at 5:42 (90, 89, 86, 76). Felt good on the whole. Kind of pathetic that I couldn't commit to hurting until the final 300 meters, but it is only June and I waa never planning to do a true speed workout... Just wanted to play with pace. Cooled down with a 12 minute jog to the Creamery and back. Makes up a bit for not fitting in a run yesterday.
