Comments:
I was working at my computer all morning and kept seeing ginko leaves raining down, so I finally stopped what I was doing and headed off to get me some leaf action. Ginkos are incredibly challenging, so I moved on and soon realized that the strong winds through the night had led us into E.L.T.S. (Excessive leaf tug syndrome)! I caught only one leaf in a grueling 35 minute slog through Chevy Chase, Teneleytown, AU Park and back home. I was tired and very tight from yesterday's long run. I just haven't been keeping up with enough consistent quality training and I'm not in the kind of shape to manage long leaf runs. Embarrassed by the lack of fitness and the lack of leaves. They just weren't falling for me. Also, I wore the #2 Keyanos with the red insoles and they were very uncomfortable. Ended the run with a bruise on the top of the left foot. Annoyed all around.
