Exercise Type: Run
Weather: chilly, but not brutal... upper 20s and dark
Comments:
Ran to meet Sammy Mac at 39th and Fesseden at 5:50am. Did a few leg swings, jogged down to Reno, and went right into "4xmile." Clockwise loops around Ft. Reno "block" with ~2 min recovery jog down Fesseden from the crest of 39th street where the interval stopped (at 1.023 miles)to the starting point at Fes. and Reno. Ran the first one a little ahead of Sam. On the second I looped in two places to keep him near me, and on the last two he insisted I run ahead and shoot for 6:15.

Felt good once I got warmed up and despite having had a minor cold all week, I think I worked hard and got something out of it. Definitely pushed the pace aggressively on the last one, and felt strong up the hills and throughout. Took a quick 5 min jog home.
I seem to have run the cold out of me... as I stopped having a running nose and began to recover that day despite the workout and my average of 5 hours of sleep all week.
