Weather: 80s, but not nearly as humid as it has been
Comments:
I clearly can't call this 4 even though I pray it was more than 3.5. After a day with the family getting stuff done and watching World Cup, I got out for a half hour run through Chevy Chase and Somerset. Just felt extremely tired and slow. After 17 minutes I paused and took a decent static stretch which helped me loosen up a bit, but I didn't feel like I could more at anything more than a jog until the final half mile up the brick path when I overtook two bikers who had passed me downhill on Dorsett. I wan't say I loosened up or felt good, but at least, I started to run rather than jog for a bit. There is a good chance this entire run was done at more than 8:00 min pace. Ooh June! It all makes sense, though as I'm finishing the second week of my focused summer training. Perhaps I'll see some good days soon.
