Comments:
I'll be away from technology for he rest of the week as we'll be camping in Mendocino County. I'd like to keep consistent despite the change in routine this week and be at 40 miles this week. Looking back at last week, I've decided it could be considered my step back week after building 5-7 miles per week over the past five weeks. That means I should try to take another step forward this week. I need to stretch more (which I did Monday night) and I ought to get back to icing my knees (which I might be able to do in streams). Hopefully I'll find some good trails and cool weather by the coast.
For the rest of July, it doesn't seem like I need to be much over 40 per week... I just need to get comfortable in that range, wrap my mind around 45 minutes as the norm, add in long runs which are over an hour, start striders and tempos and hills and random fartlek, and just keep the momentum going towards RTB which is two months away.
