14 x 400!

Comments:
We started our annual XC 400 Track workout series. But we bumped it up to 14 reps instead of the usual 12. This way we can get more practice running longer like we do in 6k's.

I ran in the 1st group with Jacy and Meredith. I just hung with Meredith for each one. I tried to stay relaxed, consistent and run my goal race pace.

I was shooting for 86's which are on pace for a 17:55...dreaming big! haha The first one was right on 85 or 86 I believe, but it felt harder than the first one usually does for me...then I relaxed, and focused in on each 400 individually. I focused on form, and really paying attention to what that pace felt like.

Towards the early middle of the workout, my times were dropping significantly and I was running 84's and below. I felt good, but was a little freaked out that we kept dropping time. I wanted to make sure I was running consistent enough that I wouldn't burn out before the end of the workout. I was able to hold on and run under pace for all 14 reps thankfully. It was a really great workout and I really felt God's presence that morning. SO thankful that I feel healthy and strong :)

The add on 1000 Rebekah gave us on the other hand, that was a little rough, and my legs felt numb. I pushed hard though, still ran about 3:31 for my K though. I'll take that :)
