Comments:
Since Zac and I are running a 5k next saturday, we decided to do the workout with the regionals guys. We did 4 loops at a faster pace as opposed to 5 loops like the rest of the team. The first one we went out a bit slower than pace and it felt very easy. But we picked it up on the last three.
Goal time: 4:50
Splits (mile pace in parentheses):
4:54 (5:29), 4:44 (5:18 & a res loop PR!), 4:46 (5:22), 4:48 (5:24)
Each loop was 0.89 miles according to my watch.
This may have been one of my best workouts all year. I felt quick and in control the entire time. Kind of surprising considering I felt pretty beat up the last two days from the race. Core after
