December 7, 2014 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 49 and clear sunset
Comments:
Been dealing with a lingering chest cold since last Monday and was writing report cards all weekend. Annoyed that I didn't have time/motivation to run yesterday when I was mostly healthy, I nearly opted to take a nap rather than run today. I even lay down and turned on the 20 minute alarm, but then stood up three minutes later, changed, and went off feeling energized nearly right away. Adrenaline faded 12 minutes in as I doubled back on the golf course, but I kept building the pace anyhow and was cruising by the time I came home through No Exit Neighborhood. Breathing was effected by the lingering illness and body was clearly still a bit weak, but as I'd hoped, the legs still felt strong. Pace probably drifted down from 7:30 to 6:45.
