Exercise Type: Run

To start off, watching everyone race today really hyped me up. Couldn't be more proud of how the guys performed. Can't wait to see everyone continue to improve.
In regards to my race, I felt much more confident than how I did at Springfield. The workouts I've been having lately proved to me that I'm capable of running some decent times. Although I PR'd (comparative to the 3200) by 20 seconds, I was still hoping to run under 9:10, but it's definitely progress. When I got back to campus I watched my race a couple times to see what I need to work on. Based on the video I need to work on picking up my knees as well as my arms when I run. I made a rookie mistake by making a move too soon in the race, but it happens, I just know not to do it next time. Also my stomach started bothering me about a mile in the race while kind of made me afraid to start picking up the pace. Pleased with my race? Yes. Satisfied? Not a bit. Still waiting for my breakthrough race but I have to be patient. Just got to keep working and the results will come
