Summer Grind: Day 1

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Hot and humid as fugg

Comments:
Short CHEast loop with two easy striders at the track. I was way too hot to do more than that but it's probably best that I kept it light

First day of doing anything since conferences/the hamstring tear. It felt fine besides 10 seconds of tightness in the middle of the run. I'm trying to focus on tightening my butt and using my lower abs to tilt my pelvis upwards (or less downwards I guess). Hopefully that will help both my hamstrings and help me to not lean back at the end of my races. Got a long looooonnngg summer of training ahead though. This week is all runs just to get my body back in the swing of training then next week I'll start doing some workouts
