Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
nigh time 6 miler. In the middle of the run I hear footsteps behind me. Running steps that are getting closer. I look over and theres a dog! It freaked me out. At least it was a nice dog that just wanted to run and play. I check its collar but there aren't any tags on it. So i try to let it lead the way in hopes that it goes home. But he just keeps coming back to me looking for belly rubs. It was nice to play with a dog haha
The thing is my side of the street is just desert with a neighborhood on the other side. but its a three lane road. And when the dog is jumping around and playing it decides to run out in the middle of the freaking road. When cars are coming... So I run out put my hands up and scream like a mad man but they don't stop! I grab the dog and he thinks I'm playing and lays down in the street! I pull a little harder and he gets it and runs out of the street just in time. Now we're on the neighborhood side. And again I try letting the dog lead the way. He runs into the garage of the first house we find and thats sweet. So I start backing away quietly and start running down the road. But then I hear the click click click of paws/claws on pavement and he comes running back. Of course in the middle of the road. honestly I dont know if this dog was blind because even when we were just walking he would keep running into my legs. And he almost walked into a parked car.
Either way we try again and he goes running into the next garage and back out again. So now I have no idea what to do. Luckily these trucks pull up. They roll down the window because I'm in the way of their driveway with this dog sitting next to me all happy. First thing that hits me is the weed. haha these guys were blazed af. I ask if they know whose dog this is and they have no idea. So they park, get out and call animal control. No answer, just on hold. These guys eventually decide to keep the dog in their backyard until the morning and they'll call and put up signs etc in the morning. So that was that. I continued on the rest of my run and we all lived happily ever after. Maybe I won't go there on night runs anymore idk
