Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran with Kieran, Matt, Silas, Ian, Tristan, and Nick. There were a ton of girls there that's all I know I was surprised how many more girls than guys were there the boys gotta step it up. Pace was quick during this run. Mapped it on map my run and it gave me around 6.7 miles. Even though it was a flat run it shouldn't be that quick. The one positive that I can take out of that is that the run did feel very easy. I feel like I'm getting into great shape. I was hardly breathing hard at all I was just breathing through my nose most of the time. I've been practicing on controlling my breathing to optimize my use of oxygen. Pace started out good then we slowly got faster and faster. The group of me, Derf, Ian, and Kieran stayed together. Kieran's looking good and it was good he was able to keep that pace. On the way back we went just a little faster than on the way there. My arches were hurting a little I'll pay close attention to that but they've been having a little pain in them for sheiks now and it goes away. I think it's because I've been trying to transition to forefoot striking rather than midfoot strikes and my legs aren't used to it. But this will help me in the long run. We got back and did drills then 4 100 m strides on the turf then foot drills followed by a plank circle more abs and a good team hip exercise. I don't know where Neil was but I know he won't be here tomorrow for the workout because of life guarding. Cole wanted to sleep in so he said he was running on his own hopefully he does.
