Barton workout

Took an off day yesterday because I was busy studying and anyways I haven't taken one in a little bit. Anyways this workout was not my best but I pushed through and just grinder out some work that will definitely make me better. We started out with a 15 min warmup. I was very sore just my calves were just tight, it felt like I was working twice as hard to get the same pace. I gotta say the warmup even felt tough for me. It was good to have Neil back running with us. It's felt like awhile but he'll be back in shape in no time. After the warmup we had a water break then we got to the workout. It was 3-4 sets of 4x200 at mile pace with 200 m jog recovery between reps and 400m jog between sets. My goal pace was 30-32 seconds. I decided that I wanted to start out easier and ease into the workout and not kill my legs at the start. That ended up being a good idea. Still after a few reps I realized that I was only in the shape to do 3 sets and 4 would be pushing my levels a little too much this early into the season. If coach wanted me to do 4 I would've done it though. I started easier going pretty much around 32s for each 200. It was hard doing some of the reps because we had to dodge some people so we had to go way outside which would add time to each rep. I finished the first set with a 31sec 200. I was already feeling it a little bit by the last 200 of the first set. After the 400 I felt energized. I got back to work and most of my 200s of this set were 31 seconds with one 30 on the third rep. The final set was really tough I was breathing hard and my legs were hurting hit 30s consistently. Everyone was very tired at the end. We headed outside for long cool down. Me and Silas ran ahead to scare the guys at Beebee but we couldn't find them so we ran around trying to find them for awhile it was pretty dark so running around Beebee was sick. Our cool down was a little longer than we intended to have it be. I'm nervous for this AP bio test I studied for like 8 hours today. Recoveries are all put together in one. Also I forgot to put the ins and outs in there at the start so it's at the bottom.
