St. Albans Meet 1600

Somehow forgot to post about this race after it happened so this is about a week late. Overall, it was a good, low key meet at St. Albans beautiful new track. Warm up jog was from school to the meet, which was slightly under 2 miles (1.7 according to google maps). I was supposed to do the 4x4 and 1600 but 4x4 got cancelled so it was just the 1600. I was really happy with my time of 5:19.9 as it's a 10 second PR and this was an early season meet. My splits (if I'm remembering correctly) were 77-83-82-77, which is pretty solid as the middle two should be slower once I settled into the race and before the kick. Hoping to get down below 5:10 this season but I know that'll be tough.
