Exercise Type: Run

Weather: high 70s sunny, light wind

del val's course sucked and my left Achilles and right calf were terrible. First mile went out controlled but in the front at around 5:24 pace. felt like i slowed it down a lot after mile three in part due to my calves but still held everyone off . didn't kick bc of the Achilles. all in all a good day, 28:28 while racing conservatively and still helping the team to a third place finish was good. iced right after i went through the shoot then elevated my legs and iced more on the bus. Also went to weight room and lifted/ biked then saw the trainer. need to complete rehab for calves and stop drinking copious amounts of alcohol and i should be ok to race all out this sat.
