Got out fast was in second right behind jeff in a huge pack for almost the entire first mile. Felt good through the whole first mile.
Starting getting passed then settled in behind the second pack of runners which i did not want to do. by the time we got to 2 miles there was a separation but i was still feeling good. I started to move up and did but once i hit about 3 miles i got the worst cramp i have ever gotten before. my breathing and oxygen debt killed my stride and i fell apart instead of closing like i wanted to. cramp got less painful with about a half mile to go but at that point my body was zapted and i had pretty much given up.
-I should not have gone out in the lead.
-should have made sure i stuck on the navy leaders and not got sucked so far back.
-i should also have kept my mind in it and made sure i came home the last 2 miles.
