Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 80 and humid...so less hot I guess??

Pissed off from the get-go this morning because I missed my alarm yesterday morning (and didn't run at all as a result) and today I also missed my alarm. Had an 830 meeting but pretty much knowingly skipped it so I could get my run in.

What a run it was...and by that I mean slow and not good. Thinking maybe I was tight from not doing anything yesterday, the beers and other things before bed probably didn't help either...plus woke up late so didn't have time to hydrate normally. Combine all of that and it's just not a good run. I felt like I was going too slow at times and getting extremely frustrated mid run, but when picking up the pace I could only hold it so long. It's like I need to do speed work to remind my legs how to run at a faster pace, I feel like they're just used to one gear right now and that gear is annoyingly slow. Plan is to do an easy 2 tomorrow morning. Take off Thursday, then Friday morning get another 2 in + 1 mile of faster leg work.

Very tough run mentally to get through, glad I didn't pussy out towards the end. 14:50 at turnaround point.
