Catching up on Mileage

July 29, 2016 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 80s

Comments:
I'm actually logging this on August 21, as this run was previously logged as two separate runs so as to not get a lot of attention. I was behind on mileage for several reasons. Also, I was feeling like pushing myself and seeing how far I could go, although it was a slow pace. went from my house on Coy Glen, down Elm St. Ext, and took State to South Hill, and got on the second entrance to the South Hill Rec Way along Hudson. Then took the Rec Way to Burns, and then Slaterville, then Park, where I got on the Pew Trail. Then took Honness to the E Ithaca Rec Way. From there, I went right at Maple Ave., and intended so continue on the E Ithaca Rec Way from there, but it was closed. So I ended up running to Pine Tree Rd, where I would take a left, but that was closed. I then ran to East Hill Plaza, and Ellis Hollow Rd., before turning back and taking Dryden Rd., to the bridge on Synchotron, and got some water at the Wrestling Center on Campus Rd. After that, went to Tower Road, and then along Beebee lake on Forest Home Dr. Next was Pleasant Grove, to Jessup, and made my way down Cayuga Heights and Lakeview Cemetery. Got some water at the youth bureau; the nighttime cleaning guy was nice enough to let me in to re-hydrate, and then along the railroad tracks, and through Stewart Park and the Waterfront Trail. I was feeling it at this point, in the zone. From there, I went along Floral Ave., and up to my house on Coy Glen. Felt good knowing that I could run that far, even further. I didn't feel bad the next day, just tired, but no injury-related soreness, or even the day after that. Did some abs (30 leg lifts, 100 total cherry-pickers) and 51 push-ups when I got back, as well as some stretching.
