Finally ready to test the calf

December 9, 2016 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 30 and dark with ice on Belt Rd

Comments:
Would have liked some more sleep, but after resting the injured soleus since Saturday's injury, I knew I needed to try this run. Was pleasantly happy with the first few blocks as the calf didn't hurt much at all. by the time I got to Sam's it did hurt. Granted it was stiff at 5:45am. I paused to stretch it while Sam and Jesse looped the block. We started back up 41st with it painful and tight and me limping. by the time we got near home, I decided it was loosening up enough to continue. It kept loosening and we kept extending. Eventually extended all the way past Pence's house. Run felt good, other than the calf, and I think it served me well because by the time I ran on Saturday afternoon, it was essentially a non-issue. I also did a few calisthenics on it at practice.
