Threshold and 200's

January 17, 2017 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Pretty solid day today. We headed out near the commons and then turned right and went past purity to go on the waterfront trail. We started the threshold there. The plan I had was to stay conservative at a good pace, and try to pace the other guys if possible. I think that worked out really well. We all stayed in a pack together working together to make sure we kept a consistent pace that worked for everyone and to keep each other's pace in check. We let Silas go ahead. I felt really good, this pace felt easy for me which is great my stamina is starting to get there. Even though the pace felt really easy for me I'm glad I stayed back with the guys and made sure we were all going the right pace because they also kept me in check when I would start to push it. Got back after 25 mins and did some 200's at mile pace. Kept my recovery easier. Hit consistent 31's and 32's and then Weishaar said we could go a little faster at the end. Hit 2 30's to end. The speed stuff feels really good for me now which is a good sign. Finished with a 2 lap cooldown and jogged through the infield to get 1000m. Threshold distance was measured to 4.26
