Had a longer workout today. So it was a good change of pace, could sort of just get into a rhythm and just run. Started with a mile warmup with the team then we just did a Boynton mile before starting our workout. The workout was 3x2400 with 1 min 30 seconds in between. Me and Silas were supposed to be hitting 80's pretty much. The first rep I took it out for most of it. I was trying to keep a consistent pace but I slowed down a little after the halfway point then we picked it back up and finished almost perfect. My legs felt like trash today for some reason so I knew today was a grind it out workout. The hardest part was the recovery part because we had so little recovery because we had so little time. We started the next rep and I could still feel the lactic acid in my body. Silas took this one out pretty much the entire time, we took the first mile out a little quick and I felt it but we came back and finished strong. My Achilles was a little sore during that one but I knew it would be fine for the last rep. The last one was by myself since Silas did only 2 and it was pretty hard to push myself alone. I was working as hard as I could but I was feeling the lactic acid. Grinded it out for 8:05 closing in a 75 so it was a little slow but I got the work in so that's all that matters. Cooled down then headed inside for lifting and stretching.
