Comments:
Today we had a workout of 4-5x1200 at tempo then 4x200 at mile pace. We started with the team warmup then 10 or so minutes then we did our drills and strides. For the workout we wanted to start out really easy so our bodies could get adjusted to the 85 degree weather which was tough. Also I was just fried today physically and mentally because I only got 2 hours of sleep last night because I was studying and then I took a 4 hour test. So a lot of us were feeling that. The first one I kept pretty easy on purpose to see how I would feel. I didn't have a watch and I was doing it by feel. The next one I decided that I just wanted to really work the workout for the rest of it, because you gotta work those middle reps. I really pushed the next three and I was breathing pretty hard I would guess based on feel I was around 4:02-3:54-3:54. The wind picked up for the last 2 which made it a little harder but it wasn't too bad. Weishaar said after the 4th that that was all we needed. After that we jogged over for some 200s. Me and Noah were basically together and we got a lot out of these hitting 30-30-28-27. I never felt really strained and it just felt pretty smooth. I felt exhausted after just because of my sleep deprivation. I'm not trying to stay up that late studying again. Finished with a good 12 minute or so cooldown.
