Today was just one of those gut it out days, I couldn't find a chance to eat until about an hour before we started running and an hour and a half before our workout started so it felt like I had to throw up even before the workout. I also forgot my spikes which I even told myself not too. My goal pace was 63-66 then to close in 31-32. The workout started and I went alone coming in at around 66 and closing in 31. We had a 5-minute recovery but I just felt pretty awful, I decided that from there I would just go hard from here on out and see what I could do even though I was under the weather. The next one I went out in 62 and closed in 31. I just went too hard for this one and really felt it too, and I messed up because there was no discrepancies in my pacing. The next one I was supposed to hold back just a little bit to make sure I was at a good pace, so I came through in 64 and closed in 31 again. After this one I was pretty toast I just felt like I had to throw up and I was feeling that fast 2nd rep. Weishaar told me to come through a little slower for the next one and then try to close in the same speed. I knew I just had to gut this one out, but I went out way too slow, and I was feeling it badly, then I closed in 31. I was close to throwing up after but I didn't. I guess I learned my lesson that it's better to not eat at all, rather than eat way too late. Finished with a good 20 minute cooldown then lifting.
