Weather: chilly, wet
Comments:
we got to the bus at 7, got to union endicot at 8:20. we walked the course when we got there. it was really hilly. there was one hill that was as bad or worse than the newtown big hill. we started our warmup at 11:09. we went for about 13 min and then stretched. after that we went to the start line and did speed development. the race started at 11:50 and i went out slower than the rest of the team. i was in the back until the first downhill, which was about 1000 meters into the race. i flew down that hill and started to pass a lot of people. i kept passing people up and down the hills, and then i saw noah up ahead. i made sure he would not get out of sight, especially going up the monster hill. after that uphill, i sped up a lot on the last long downhill and passed noah. then it was just a lap around the school. i came in close to about 7 guys. i beat two of them, but the other five beat me by about a second. my heel didnt hurt that bad during the race or after the race. i went on a short cooldown, but i should have gone longer.
