Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 70s
Comments:
Should be averaging 7+ per day, but struggling to motivate to that and still feeling sore and run-down after the race and quality run the next morning. So... I just ran Dad's standard 4 mile loop at a casual pace. Left knee continues to bug me as I run, especially at the start and finish of each run. I get so annoyed on runs like this because I keep hoping I'm going faster than I am, but whenever I look at a split, I'm not going fast. I'm sure I could consciously push the pace, but going at a steady effort keeps producing these runs where I'm essentially at 8:00 pace, and I keep wondering how I got here, although I know perfectly well that 8:00 is fine and that I'm 44 and recovering from two hard days when I was dehydrated and running after long days on my feet without much sleep, etc. Still, 8 is what I jogged between intervals once upon a time... At least I'm still running.
Traditional splits indicate I was just sub seven, but I need to re-measure the course as it may be longer than I though it Tobi's watch was correct in June.
