Ladder on the bay

Hills this morning went alright. We did 7, with 3 and 6 backwards and a dink (20 jump squats 20 push-ups 20 sit ups) between 4 and 5. I went out fast, setting the pace with Savage for the first two. The backwards ones still get me and I got 4th overall. Lift afterwards.

Afternoon went really well. We were in mixed lineups again, I was in 2 on starboard and Nick was stroking. Me and Theo in bow did a nice job of setting the boat and Nick laid down a great rhythm. I've been trying to make a change to rush less on the slide and I think I finally got it today.

Ladder was 1 min at 24, 2 min at 26, 3 min at 28, 4 min at 30, and back down. 1 min rest paddling between pieces. x2. They made a switch after the first set but didn't really make a difference in boost speed.
Finished with a 3 minute or so head race up to the boathouse.
We wrecked the other boat. We walked on every piece. Took a length and a half of open over 4 minutes. And the boat felt great. I really hope we can keep up that feeling going forward.
