Absolutely perfect SF day. I started the day by walking through Petaluma fog with the girls to Sophie's donut shop. We cleaned up and drove to the city around 3pm. I got myself out the door around 4:35 and enjoyed my run quite a bit, despite being very slow and stiff for the first few miles. Eventually, I warmed up and the views of the fading light on the city and the sun setting over the Pacific as I rounded Sutro Heights was fantastic. My route took me past Sarah's old school to Lincoln Park, around Lands End, and down onto Ocean Beach as the sun slipped into the ocean. I had enough residual light to make my way up through the Golden Gate Park and felt decent enough to extend the run with some winding through the Richmond before getting back to Si's and having dinner at Ton Kaing. Legs felt the faster runs of the past few days, but pace probably dropped from near 9:00 in the first mile to 7:30 is in the last few.
