Motivation

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: right at 32 or so and pretty nice for running

Comments:
Mark B came to my house at 6:45 as I wanted to be home before 8. It was nice to get it over with early, and the quiet streets (darkish when we first started) were appreciated). Western to Dalcarlia Rd and Westmoreland Hills onto the Little Falls trail, up and over to Brookmont and onto the towpath at the north end of that hood. Left towpath at Sycamore Island Bridge and returned via MacArthur, Crescent, Little Falls Rd, Geico Hood and Willard. Pace built as we went and probably dropped quickly from 8:00ish to 7:15 ish and was 6:40 by the time we came back up the Crescent. I was able to hang, but anytime we went up something, I was quite winded, and it was certainly quicker than I would have done alone. Felt like a quality day. Didn't stretch nearly enough, but after the shower, I manged a couple of minutes of hop alignment work which helped tremendously, as it always does. I certainly am gaining confidence and need to figure out if I'm gong to race and what distance to take on.
