houses of green, purple and blue

July 13, 2018 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: near 90 and some humidity

Comments:
Getting warm again, but not awful yet. Game day was to search for houses (or at least front doors) of the colors of NCS, STA and GDS. I barnacled myself to Little G, Smurph, and Yangmeister and forced them to follow my route as we wove through Cleveland Park past 110 houses in just under 40 minutes. We won and the pace was pretty consistent and felt good for a second run of the day in hot weather. Lower back has been tight for some time. Right groin is till feeling the strain and the core still tightens up after most runs, but feet have been generally more manageable this summer as I've stuck them in the roller from time to time and am walking Sally barefoot a few times per week. Writing tis on Sunday night I have to confess to my weakness not to have gotten in even one run over the weekend. Can blame Saturday on Stephen's visit and the 28th annual, but Sunday was just laziness. Alas. I need to refocus this upcoming week... and will.
