Butter, Slop and a Little G.

November 15, 2018 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: slush, light rain and 34

Comments:
Spent much time with family which was nice on this unexpected slush day. Put off run too long and ended up going out at 5pm for a mostly dark run. Transported a stick of butter in my hopper knit hat to the McFerrans, ran into Ana Gunther (not Julia) as she got into her car behind Sam's, chased after her car as she drove home and despite loosing sight of her as she crossed Reno, I found myself nearly getting to her house before turning for home at Tennyson and 33rd. After a morning wintery mix and hours of afternoon rain, the surface was nearly 2 inches of soft slush, but I felt good, was plenty warm in my shorts and long sleeve, and moved at a solid clip (dropping from 8:00 low 7s?) once I got going. The base of my big toes (On my feet) have been achy since yesterday's run. Another signal that it is time for new shoes. Wore the Saucony Triumphs to avoid aggravating the toe area, but that just aggravates the ankles. I've done some spot back-logging to day dating back to October 10. Still much of November left to log.
