Belt Rd loop with Leah B and another 6 with Abe

August 31, 2019 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: nice, warm, but not too hot, 80ish

Comments:
Suggested Leah should run 3 miles to see if she feels ready for Lake Forest, so she and I did the Belt Rd Loop clockwise (turning at Z Burger street). I figured this would be close to a 5km, but the phone she wore reports it is 5.4km. Pace was set by Leah, and picked up a bit in the downhill 3rd mile. After we returned, I quickly headed down Livingston to intercept Abe as he ran from his home. We found each other just east of Connecticut and too that to Nebraska to 39th to Glover and doubled back at Mass. We split up at Elanas after returning essentially the same way we'd come. Pace felt brisker, but still wasn't all that aggressive. Still, it was just the speed I wanted and felt perhaps quicker than's I'd have gone if alone. Frustrated for Abe as he can't get past this shin pain and there may not be an opportunity to run for Tom this fall. Nice to catch up with an old student, slash banner winner. (37 minutes of running with Leah and 47 with Abe)
