Why not

September 18, 2019 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: upper 70s and sun, but lower humidity

Comments:
Ran to AU with the mile to Ward at 7:00 and that was with the usual 8+ mile pace start. Didn't feel awful which was a nice change. Stood and timed for 40 minutes before groups started to break up and Ethan Sze needed someone to pace him. Everyone was doing 400s with short recoveries. Ran a pair with him and a few others, including the final two with Ella G.. Times were like 1:39, 1:35?, 1:29, 1:19, 1:12 Each time I did one I thought, "We'll that was close to all out," but hen I'd run a faster one and think, "I don't htink I can go much faster than that," but then there'd be another person going faster, and I'd work with them. It was reassuring and I was so very close to taking up Myles n his offer to race me for a rematch 400. Mark (who was kind enough to come run this workout before his flight to NYC) told me I was wise not to race one, but I probably could have used the training. Feet, hernia, and calves may have felt differently. Jogged back to school with a big group.
