Comments:
Down to MLK for the third 6 miler (4th if you include my effort in the Akron half). Weather was very fall like and overcast. Nice sun lined front out on the lake.
Warmed up 2. Wanted to aim for 5:40 and chose to not wear the HR monitor this time. Looking back, I realized the last two training cycles I was averaging 5:38ish a tempo, although I think those efforts were too hard. Nonetheless, I feel like those worked for me then so I wanted to try to speed today's up.
Went great. Splits were 5:40, 40, 40, 46, 43, 38. HR at the end around 170. Felt really good too until mile 5 had some struggles but got it back down a felt ok. Pacemaster was back those 1st three too. Yes!
