Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Workout was 20x300 @ 5k pace with 1 minute rest. Tony came along for a few which was a huge boost.
4x30m striders before felt pretty good. Stomach wasn't feeling super hot.
As you'll be able to tell from the splits I still struggled to find a rhythm. But the workout was great. Was able to spend a ton of time at tempo-like pace. Short rest kept everything challenging but not too tough.
Was aiming for around 65 seconds per 300
63, 64, 62, 59, 62, 65, 64, 64, 62, 61, 65, 64, 64, 62, 62, 63, 60, 64, 63, 63.
Not gonna bother entering them below. With 100m jog all the intervals came out to 5 miles.
Also important to note I took 2 minutes rest after interval 16 (jogged across the field and used the porta john and got back on the track to start #17 in under 2 minutes that is). The extra minute rest made a huge difference in how I was feeling for the rest of the workout really. Kindof a bummer but nature was calling
