Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Cold AF. Biggest mistake is that I brought the peasant pants with the intent on taking them off to race in shorts but it was way too cold for that and I should've just worn tights.
Took the race out too quick (5:30 first mile) but it didn't feel too fast - I was just trying to hang with another guy. Fell off and the 2nd mile was 5:57 then got even worse with a 6:17.
Interesting find from the heart rate graph - from the race start I was around 140 until 7 minutes in then I was locked at 155 the rest of the race. That seems so strange to me. My heartrate picks up on easy runs way higher than that. And this was a pretty tough effort. Does that mean I'm aerobically limited? idek anyone who understands that stuff hit me up.
Other than that, pretty bummed I couldn't hold out but this is still great progress from even a few short weeks ago.
