March 20, 2020 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 60
Comments:
About as Spring-like a run as can be imagined. First of all, it was in the 60s and humid at 6am. Secondly the cherry trees, forsythia, lenten roses, daffodils, quince, hyacinths, and even tulips are blooming. Berenson swept me out of my early morning stupor as I ran down Reno to meet Sam. The 4 minutes at a real pace nicely woke me up, but made the pursuant nearly 9 minute pace trudge feel somehow a bit disappointing. Still, we managed to get to Kenwood and took a satisfying loop before returning along Dorset, Cedar, and 41st. Nice to catch up with them both and I escorted Sam home before returning at 7:35 pace along 41st. Glutes are still sore from Anna's workout and despite a long stretch, I am still generally stiff all over. Pretty certain my achy-ness and low weight readings a few days ago were, indeed, dehydration. Looks like we are in for a gorgeous 80 degree day, so get out and run. The Cherry trees in Kenwood and elsewhere are ready for viewing.
